Cargo Bike Hub was created with a simple belief:

The cargo bike industry doesn’t lack capability —it often lacks clarity.

My name is Oliver Grant, and I entered the cargo bike industry a few years ago. What I quickly realized was that many challenges were not about engineering limitations or market demand. They were about fragmented information. Suppliers, designers, distributors, and innovators were often working hard — but not always with access to transparent, structured insights.

When information is unclear, the industry tends to compete on price rather than innovation. Energy is spent navigating confusion instead of building better products. Cargo Bike Hub exists to change that.

Our Mission

  • Share industry insights and trends
  • Analyze technology developments
  • Clarify supply chain structures
  • Explore market movements
  • Encourage thoughtful innovation

What We Believe

  • Transparency strengthens industries
  • Knowledge reduces unnecessary competition
  • Better information leads to better products
  • Collaboration drives long-term growth

How We Research

Every data point published on CargoBikeHub traces to a primary source: EU regulation texts on EUR-Lex, certification standards (EN 17860, EN 50604-1, UL 2849), government frameworks such as business.gov.nl, research institutions including the ICCT and CONEBI, and named reporting from Zag Daily, Cycling Industry News and endurance.biz. We fetch and cross-reference the original documents before publishing — not summaries of summaries. When sources conflict or a figure cannot be independently confirmed, we soften the claim and say so in the text, rather than present it as settled.

An Open Conversation

This industry moves fast, and we don’t pretend to be infallible. If you notice inaccuracies, have different insights, or want to contribute perspectives, we genuinely welcome thoughtful discussion.

For collaboration, discussion, or feedback:

The cargo bike industry is still evolving. Its future will depend on the people who build it — and the clarity with which we understand it.

We look forward to exchanging ideas about cargo bike technology, market dynamics, and long-term industry development.
